Copilot vs Autonomous: Choosing the Right Agent Mode
Three Modes, One Agent
LINK offers three distinct agent modes, each designed for different business needs and comfort levels with AI automation.
Autonomous Mode
Best for: High-volume, repetitive queries with clear answers.
In Autonomous mode, the AI agent handles conversations end-to-end without human intervention. It answers questions, processes orders, schedules appointments, and resolves issues — all on its own.
Copilot Mode
Best for: Complex sales or support where human judgment matters.
The AI activates only when the business owner mentions it with @. It reads the full conversation and assists the owner — not the customer directly. This keeps humans in complete control.
Reactive Mode
Best for: Group chats and collaborative channels.
The agent stays silent unless anyone — customer or owner — mentions it with @. Perfect for community groups where AI should assist on demand.
Our Recommendation
Start with Copilot mode to build confidence in the AI's responses. As you see it consistently delivering quality answers, gradually move high-volume topics to Autonomous mode. Use Reactive mode for any group-based interactions.
